Lenin Peak is one of the most popular peaks among novice alpinists-athletes and those who want to try their hand at high-altitude mountaineering. This 7,134-meter mountain is the highest peak of the Zaalay Range and one of the three seven-thousanders of Kyrgyzstan. Two other 7,000m peaks, the Pobeda Peak (7,439m) and Khan-Tengry (7,010m), are also extremely popular among the climbers of the world, but Lenin Peak is the most accessible one for mass mountaineering.
